Talk the Talk

Talk the Talk

When men do talk the talk
Sitting in catered halls
On cushioned seats
Having driven there
In single cars
Change carved softly
In sandstone hearts
That quickly find
The chocking vines
Outgrown and outcompeted

The good intention
Badly wrought
Becomes a vice to trap and fall
Winds will whip, snap, and whorl
Systems stamping, papers signed
Clipping tickets, greasing palms
Money never lies but drowns
Our hopes for humble lives.
